Basketball Game Preview: Marshall Bears vs. Altus Bulldogs

Marshall is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Altus a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Marshall Bears will welcome the Altus Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Saturday, Marshall was beaten by Del City 76-9. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Eagles are ranked 47th).

Altus might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 64-22 to Del City, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Altus, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
