Baseball Recap: Sutton Comes Up Short

Sutton fell victim to Nipmuc Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on April 4th.

Sutton's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Nipmuc Regional, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Looking ahead, Sutton will head out to challenge Northbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nipmuc Regional, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Framingham at 4:15 p.m.
