Basketball Recap: Valley Regional Gets the Win

If Goodwin Tech wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Valley Regional, they should've done a better job of containing Noah Dolinsky. The Warriors blew past the Gladiators, posting a 73-44 victory for which the team can thank Dolinsky, who went 8-for-15 from beyond the arc to rack up 27 points. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 19 points.

Valley Regional's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Valley Regional has already played their next matchup, a 60-56 victory against North Branford on the 30th. As for Goodwin Tech, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Prince RVT at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th.
