Palmer Ridge skates past Elizabeth with ease

Recap: Palmer Ridge Bears vs. Elizabeth Cardinals

The Palmer Ridge Bears won against the Elizabeth Cardinals last Thursday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Palmer Ridge claimed a resounding 63-32 win over Elizabeth on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Palmer Ridge.

Leading Palmer Ridge to victory were Jimmer Weir and Logan Boyer. Weir scored 12 points along with four steals, while Boyer scored 18 points. The contest was Boyer's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Alex Kraft was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Connelley, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Stone, who scored six points.

Even though they lost, Elizabeth were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palmer Ridge only posted 19 assists.

Palmer Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Elizabeth, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmer Ridge will face off against Discovery Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Discovery Canyon is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Elizabeth, they will head out on the road to face off against The Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully The Classical Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
