Baseball Game Preview: Ramona Rams vs. La Sierra Eagles

For the second straight game, Ramona will face off against La Sierra. The Rams will host the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Monday, Ramona came up short against La Sierra and fell 9-5.

For La Sierra's part, Ethan Jacquez and Edgar Castaneda did most of the damage at the plate: Jacquez scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Castaneda scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave Jacquez a new career-high.

La Sierra was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

La Sierra's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Ramona, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.
