Timnath was handed a heart-breaking three-point  loss in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Thompson Valley  on Tuesday. The Timnath Cubs blew past the Thompson Valley Eagles 70-49. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine  contests by 21  points or more this season.
It was another big night for  Max Roselle, who  went 8-for-14  on his way to 20  points and seven  boards. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.  Davis Walter also deserves some recognition as  he  posted his first  block of the season.
 Timnath was working as a unit and  finished the game with 17  assists. They are 13-4 when  they've passed the ball that well.
 When it comes to explaining why Thompson Valley lost, don't look at  Rj Hale. Despite the final result, he  posted 13  points along with six  assists and five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Gabriel Gutierrez, who  earned nine points.
Timnath has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record  this season. Thompson Valley is  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 13-9.
 Coincidentally, Timnath and Thompson Valley will both be playing Roosevelt the next time they take the court. Timnath will  host Roosevelt at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday, while Thompson Valley will  host them  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
