Basketball Recap: Crane Comes Up Short

Crane was the 43-18 winner over Burns when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Crane Mustangs took a 66-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burns Hilanders on Tuesday.

Crane's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Burns, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crane will host Harper at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Burns, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Nyssa at 6:00 p.m. Burns knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Nyssa likes a good challenge.
