Campo Verde's and Gilbert's contest on Monday was close at halftime, but Campo Verde turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. The Campo Verde Coyotes put the hurt on the Gilbert Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. Considering the Coyotes have won five games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Cristian Cepeda and Lucas Tanzer scored all three of Campo Verde's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Campo Verde has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those six contests. As for Gilbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-2.

Campo Verde will take on Notre Dame Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Campo Verde will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Gilbert, they will challenge Williams Field at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
