Basketball Recap: Turner Starts Season with Victory at Home

Turner gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They managed a 44-40 victory over the South Hills Scorpions. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 33-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Turner will have a chance to go back-to-back against South Hills: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
