Recap: ASPIRA Charter Wolves vs. Chester Charter Scholars Academy Sabers

The ASPIRA Charter Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chester Charter Scholars Academy. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as ASPIRA Charter came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 51st in Delaware, while Chester Charter Scholars Academy is ranked 450th in Pennsylvania).

ASPIRA Charter's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cristian Cotto, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zy'aire Gibson, who scored 14 points.
