Baseball Recap: Brimley Takes a Loss

Brimley was the 8-6 winner over Hillman when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bays fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 7-5 on Saturday. The Bays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trey Lynn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Nichols, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Brimley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hillman, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Coming up, Brimley will venture away from home to challenge Rudyard at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillman, they will welcome Au Gres-Sims at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
