Adam Barrett posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
