Basketball Recap: Central Victorious + How To Watch

Central won the last time they faced Tuscaloosa County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons walked away with a 39-30 victory over the Wildcats.

Central found their leader in sophomore Kelly Eubanks, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Laquashia Pippen, who posted seven points and four steals.

Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Central's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Tuscaloosa County, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on American Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tuscaloosa County, they will square off against Hale County at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Tuscaloosa County will be up against Hale County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
