 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Blacksburg, Hidden Valley was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cave Spring Knights  a   10-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Hidden Valley considering their one-run performance the  contest before.
  Julian Dillard tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Zander Slough, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run.  Ryan Walding was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 Hidden Valley's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 8-12. As for Cave Spring, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record  this season.
 As of now, neither Hidden Valley nor Cave Spring have any future games scheduled.
