Mojave has gone 8-1-1 against Desert recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Scorpions at 5:00 p.m. Mojave's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Mojave's offense. They fell just short of California City by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Desert came up short against Frazier Mountain on Thursday, falling 8-2. The loss continues a trend for Desert in their meetings with Frazier Mountain: they've now lost five in a row.

Desert's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Mojave, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1.

Mojave beat Desert by a goal in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
