There's no place like home for St. Mary, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Combs Coyotes 13-4 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Bily Lewis was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Evan Rios also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

St. Mary's always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Combs only posted an OBP of .391.

St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Combs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-3-1 record this season.

St. Mary's will challenge Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give St. Mary's their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Combs, they will take on Cactus Shadows at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
