Basketball Recap: Trinity Gets the Win

The Trinity Tigers earned a 33-26 victory over the Douglass Indians on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Trinity found their leader in freshman Braleigh Bush, who shot 42% from the field on her way to 14 points. Bush has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexa Pruitt, who posted four points and 13 rebounds.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Douglass, they moved to 23-9 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Douglass, they will head out on the road to take on McLeod at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
