Softball Recap: Passaic Indians vs. Bergen Tech Knights
Passaic extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 2-11 in the process. They lost 16-0 to the Bergen Tech Knights. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
As for Bergen Tech, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.
For Bergen Tech's part, Mia Eliopoulos made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Eliopoulos has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
