Soccer Recap: South Sumter Takes a Loss

South Sumter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Trinity Catholic Celtics. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in November of 2024.

South Sumter's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Trinity Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-3.

South Sumter will venture away from home to take on Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wiregrass Ranch will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something South Sumter surely won't give up without a fight. As for Trinity Catholic, they will take on Bishop Snyder at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.
