Baseball Preview: Foxcroft Academy Ponies vs. Mattanawcook Lynx
The Foxcroft Academy Ponies will head out on the road to face off against the Mattanawcook Lynx at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Foxcroft Academy barely beat George Stevens Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Ponies never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Ponies, who have now won five contests in a row.
The result came thanks to Calvin Landry's shutout, as he gave up just three hits.
