Volleyball Recap: Highland Hall Hawks vs. Westmark Lions
There's no place like home for Highland Hall, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Westmark Lions 3-0 on Tuesday. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 defeat the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2018.
Leading Highland Hall to victory were Anna Fuchs and Johanna Kendall. Fuchs had eight kills and six aces, while Kendall had ten aces.
The victory got Highland Hall back to even at 1-1. As for Westmark, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Highland Hall will welcome Gorman Learning Charter - Santa Clarita at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westmark, they will head out on the road to challenge San Fernando Valley Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
