Volleyball Recap: San Fernando Comes Up Short

San Fernando was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sylmar Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 23-25, 25-16.

San Fernando's record is now 4-8. As for Sylmar, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Fernando will challenge rival Reseda at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sylmar is set to face off against their familiar foe Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
