Troy came out on top against Piqua on Wednesday thanks in part to Julia Rose's efforts. Rose didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
