Volleyball Recap: Modoc Comes Up Short

Modoc was the 3-0 winner over Trinity when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves on Saturday.

Katie Erquiaga paced Modoc's offense, picking up four kills. Erquiaga got some help from Abigail Depaul and her nine assists. Finally, Vivian Huang kept Modoc's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Modoc's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Trinity, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Modoc didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Anderson on the 6th. As for Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mt. Shasta on the 6th.
