Baseball Recap: Comeaux Takes a Loss

Comeaux managed to slip by Rayne the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Comeaux lost 12-1 to Rayne on Tuesday. The Spartans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Comeaux's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Rayne, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Comeaux will take on New Iberia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Comeaux's pitchers better be ready for this one: New Iberia has averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Rayne, they will face off against Northside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
