Basketball Recap: Snake River Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Snake River put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Teton Timberwolves by a score of 53-44. The 53-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Teton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Burke Nelson, who posted ten points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Canon Kunz, who had nine points and three steals.

Snake River pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Teton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Snake River will welcome Kimberly at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Teton, they will head out on the road to challenge Jackson Hole at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Teton is facing Jackson Hole at the right time seeing as Jackson Hole is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
