Basketball Game Preview: Art & Design vs. Graphics

Art & Design is on an eight-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Graphics a 12-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. Art & Design will host Graphics at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Art & Design had to suffer through a 54-20 loss at the hands of Beacon.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-27, which was the final score in Graphics' tilt against Laguardia on Monday. While losing is never fun, Graphics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 633rd, while Laguardia is ranked 201st).

Art & Design's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Graphics, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Art & Design skirted past Graphics 36-33 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Does Art & Design have another victory up their sleeve, or will Graphics turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
