Soccer Recap: Arapahoe Comes Up Short

Arapahoe was the 5-1 winner over Mullen when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Arapahoe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while Mullen are ranked fifth).

Arapahoe's goal came courtesy of Caiden Dreier, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Arapahoe and nudges their season record down to 5-7-2. As for Mullen, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Coincidentally, Arapahoe and Mullen will both be playing Eaglecrest the next time they take the pitch. The Mustangs will host the Raptors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
