Basketball Game Preview: Colquitt County Packers vs. Lowndes Vikings

Colquitt County is 2-8 against Lowndes since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Colquitt County Packers will challenge the Lowndes Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Colquitt County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Colquitt County can't be too worried about heading out to take on Lowndes: they just beat Camden County at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Colquitt County managed a 50-45 victory over Camden County on Wednesday.

Colquitt County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amareyia Knighton out in front who went 5-for-9 on her way to 15 points. What's more, Knighton also posted a 56% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Nacardia Robinson was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Colquitt County was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.
