Basketball Game Preview: Harrisburg Eagles vs. Elmira Falcons

Harrisburg and Elmira are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Harrisburg Eagles take on the Elmira Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elmira took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Harrisburg, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Harrisburg turned things around against La Pine on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-23 win over the Hawks. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Hawks are ranked 217th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Elmira was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 41-33 to Creswell, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Harrisburg's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Elmira, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
