Volleyball Recap: Taconic Comes Up Short

Taconic lost against Lenox Memorial back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunder fell just short of the Millionaires by a score of 3-2.

Lenox Memorial's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Claire OBrien, who had 12 kills and five aces. Another player making a difference was Emily Barenski, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Taconic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lenox Memorial, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taconic will face off against Wahconah Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lenox Memorial, they will challenge Mount Anthony at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
