Chapin is 8-2 against Andress since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Chapin Huskies will host the Andress Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Chapin is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Canutillo just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Chapin's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jasmine Blake, who posted 16 points, and Vanessa Mora, who put up nine points.

Meanwhile, Andress took a blow against Burges on Tuesday, falling 63-17. The Eagles have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Andress' loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Chapin, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 17-13.

Chapin took their win against Andress when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 45-25. Will Chapin repeat their success, or does Andress have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
