Basketball Game Preview: Satanta Indians vs. Pawnee Heights Tigers

The Satanta Indians will face off against the Pawnee Heights Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Satanta has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 10.

Last Tuesday, Satanta took a blow against Spearville, falling 62-34. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Lancers are ranked 97th).

Meanwhile, Pawnee Heights lost to Bucklin at home by a 54-40 margin on Tuesday.

Pawnee Heights' defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Satanta, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Satanta came up short against Pawnee Heights in their previous meeting on Thursday, falling 54-43. Can Satanta avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
