Volleyball Recap: Holt Takes a Loss

Holt lost against Fort Zumwalt South on April 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Fort Zumwalt South scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-17.

Holt now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4-1 record this season.

Holt will be playing at home against Orchard Farm at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they will head out on the road to square off against Fort Zumwalt East at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
