Soccer Recap: Addison Trail Comes Up Short

Addison Trail was the 4-0 winner over Willowbrook when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Warriors who were credited with the victory on Tuesday. The Willowbrook Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting one goals to the Addison Trail Blazers' zero. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Addison Trail came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Willowbrook are ranked 270th).

Addison Trail's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Willowbrook, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-11-1.

Coming up, Addison Trail will challenge Lincoln Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willowbrook, they will welcome West Chicago at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
