Softball Recap: Covington Academy Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Peachtree Academy

Covington Academy faced Peachtree Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Covington Academy fell just short of Peachtree Academy by a score of 11-9. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Olivia Luster made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Peyton Ledoux was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
