Auburn has gone 6-1 against Mt. Rainier recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Auburn and three for Mt. Rainier.

Auburn fell victim to Auburn Riverside and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Ravens, falling 14-0.

Kentridge hit Mt. Rainier with a seven-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams lost 11-1 to the Chargers.

Mt. Rainier saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadence Avila Petitt, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Mt. Rainier's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Auburn, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Auburn suffered a grim 27-21 defeat to Mt. Rainier when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
