Soccer Game Preview: Bayside vs. Pineapple Cove Classical Academy + How To Watch

The Bayside Bears will challenge the Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bayside took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Titusville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bears' defense stepped up to hand the Terriers a 1-0 shutout on Monday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Bayside were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Pineapple Cove Classical Academy fell victim to Astronaut and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the War Eagles, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Pineapple Cove Classical Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 570th, while Astronaut are ranked 252nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Bayside, they now have a winning record of 3-2-3.
