Basketball Game Preview: Washington Township Senators vs. Trinity Greenlawn Titans

The Washington Township Senators will challenge the Trinity Greenlawn Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Washington Township is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.9 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Washington Township got the win against Wheeler by a conclusive 69-47. The victory continues a trend for the Senators in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won five in a row.

Washington Township's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rob McGowan led the charge by going 8-for-12 en route to 22 points and five boards. That's the most points McGowan has posted since back in February of 2024. Brogan Banker was another key player, going 6-for-8 to rack up 16 points.

Washington Township was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They racked up six more assists than Wheeler's also-impressive total of 13.

Meanwhile, Trinity Greenlawn came up short against LaVille on Thursday and fell 59-46.

Trinity Greenlawn's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Washington Township, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.

Washington Township didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Trinity Greenlawn in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 40-36 victory. Will Washington Township repeat their success, or does Trinity Greenlawn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
