Baseball Game Preview: Rowland Raiders vs. Perris Panthers

The Rowland Raiders will face off against the Perris Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Rowland has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rowland is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Notre Dame just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 13-2 to the Titans. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Perris had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against United Christian Academy by a score of 5-2 on Wednesday.

Perris' victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Lenning, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Adan Perez was another, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Rowland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Perris, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
