Basketball Recap: Griffith Triumphs

Griffith won the last time they faced Hebron, and Morgan Von Ogden did her part to make sure it happened again. The Griffith Panthers blew past the Hebron Hawks 56-20 on Wednesday thanks in part to Von Ogden, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

Nijah Young was another key player, putting up six points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Griffith now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Hebron, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Griffith will take on Andrean at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Griffith is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Hebron, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-Township at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
