Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mira Loma). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the San Juan Spartans 82-26. The Matadors haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mira Loma to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deangelo Keys, who threw for 113 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. Keys is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Josh Vakarau was in the mix too, providing Mira Loma with two scores.

Mira Loma was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Mira Loma's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jordy Cardozo. Those three sacks set a new season-high mark for him.

Mira Loma's record now sits at 5-0. As for San Juan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
