Frederick extended their losing streak to six on Tuesday, dropping them down to 4-15. They lost 9-0 to the Silver Creek Raptors. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 9-5 to the Raptors when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Silver Creek, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 14-4).
For Silver Creek's part, the result came thanks to David Church's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. Church also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Raptors are 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-9 otherwise.
At the plate, Silver Creek let Brody Simpson and Nick Quintana run wild. Simpson went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Quintana went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
