It was a proper cat-fight when Rangely duked it out with Grand Valley on Saturday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

While Rangely won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Teagan Behunin and Aubrianna Tapia, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Rylee Kenney and her 18 assists. Natalie Bollinger controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Rangely's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Grand Valley, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Rangely wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Caprock Academy on the 5th. As for Grand Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Plateau Valley on the 2nd.
