Basketball Recap: Cedar Bluff Skates Past Ragland with Ease

Cedar Bluff had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 3-0 to make it four. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 65-25 win over the Ragland Purple Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Ragland, they now have a losing record of 1-2. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Ragland's loss came despite strong showings from Kyra Elliott and Krista Bowlin. Elliott posted ten points, while Bowlin earned five points. That was a full 40% of the Purple Devils' points, marking the third time in a row Elliott has had more than a third of the team's points.

Cedar Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-21 victory against Victory Christian on the 24th. As for Ragland, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. on December 1.
