Recap: Morristown Central Rockets vs. Harrisville Pirates

After a string of four wins, the Morristown Central Rockets's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Harrisville, falling 86-52. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Morristown Central has scored all season.

Harrisville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tanner Sullivan out in front who scored 30 points. The game was Sullivan's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nolan Sullivan, who scored 22 points.

Morristown Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Harrisville, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morristown Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Edwards-Knox at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th. As for Harrisville, they will head out on the road to face off against Potsdam at 7:15 p.m. on January 13th.
