Recap: Templeton Eagles vs. Washington Union Panthers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Templeton Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 25-7 to Washington Union. Templeton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Harrison Bays threw for 69 yards on six of 18 attempts. Kohen Sizemore was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards. On the ground, Wyatt Ramey rushed for 52 yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washington Union to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jason Torres, who threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes. Decurtis Stroud and his 91 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Washington Union's victory.
Templeton now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Washington Union, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Templeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Washington Union will head out on the road to face off against Atascadero at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Atascadero will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
