Softball Recap: DeForest Norskies vs. Watertown Goslings
DeForest extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 3-7 in the process. They came up short against the Watertown Goslings, falling 13-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Norskies of the 10-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
As for Watertown, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1. The result was nothing new for the Goslings, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
For Watertown's part, Cali Craig made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Craig has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
