Sharpstown has gone a perfect 3-0 against Carnegie Vanguard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Sharpstown Apollos will look to defend their home pitch against the Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Sharpstown's offense. They fell 2-0 to Galena Park on Friday. The Apollos have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Carnegie Vanguard came into Saturday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Carnegie Vanguard who was credited with the win on Saturday.

Sharpstown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Carnegie Vanguard, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
