Volleyball Game Preview: Colorado Wolves vs. Albany Lions

Colorado hasn't had much luck against Albany recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Wolves will face off against the Lions at 11:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Colorado came up short against Hawley and fell 3-1.

Colorado started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 26-24, 25-8, 25-16.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Albany took on Hawley on Saturday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Bearcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Bearcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Albany was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hawley's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-16, 25-18.

Colorado's loss dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Albany, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.

Colorado couldn't quite get it done against Albany in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
